1.About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of IELTS Prep Hub (“IELTS Prep Hub”, “we”, “us”), including the website at ieltsprephub.com, the web app and any related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, buying a subscription or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2.The Service
IELTS Prep Hub is an online IELTS preparation service. It provides practice Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking tests in a computer-delivered format, automatic marking of Listening and Reading answers, AI-generated feedback and estimated band scores for Writing and Speaking, a live AI speaking examiner, study plans, progress tracking, a vocabulary and grammar library, and free IELTS tools.
IELTS Prep Hub is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. IELTS is a registered trademark of its owners. Band scores shown in the Service are estimates for practice only; they are not official IELTS results, and we do not guarantee that you will achieve any particular score in the real test.
3.Your account
- You need an account to use most of the Service. You can sign up with an email address and password or with Google.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian, who must accept these Terms and handle any purchase.
- Give accurate information, keep your password secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at ieltsprepsupport@googlegroups.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it first (see section 6).
4.Free and Premium plans
The free plan gives limited access to practice tests and AI features, as described on our Pricing page. Premium unlocks every test, full mock exams and unlimited use of the AI features, subject to fair use (section 8).
Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, currently $14.99 per month or $49.99 per year (USD). Prices may be shown in your local currency, and sales tax or VAT is added where required. The price you pay is always shown at checkout before you confirm. We may change which features are included in each plan; if a change materially reduces what you have paid for during a billing period, you may ask for a pro-rata refund.
5.Payments through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
When you buy Premium, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Paddle processes your payment details, calculates and collects any applicable taxes and issues your receipts and invoices. We never receive or store your full card details.
6.Renewal and cancellation
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, and Paddle charges your saved payment method, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from Premium → Manage subscription in the app, which opens Paddle’s secure customer portal, or by contacting us or Paddle. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you in advance, and the new price only applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
- If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry it. Premium may be paused or ended if payment cannot be collected.
7.Refunds
You can request a full refund within 14 days of any payment. Refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. The full details are in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
8.Acceptable use and fair use
You agree not to:
- copy, download in bulk, scrape, resell, publish or redistribute the tests, audio, questions, answers or other content of the Service;
- share your account, or use automated tools to access the Service or its AI features;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, access controls or payment, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
- submit unlawful, abusive or infringing content, or content containing other people’s personal information without their permission;
- use the Service to cheat in, or misrepresent, any real examination.
“Unlimited” AI features are intended for one person’s own IELTS preparation. We may apply reasonable rate limits to protect the Service from automated or abusive use.
9.AI features
Writing and Speaking feedback, band estimates, the AI examiner and the AI tools are produced automatically by artificial intelligence models from third-party providers. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent, and it is not a substitute for an official IELTS result or a qualified teacher. Use it as practice guidance only.
To provide these features, what you submit (for example essays, answers, spoken responses and their transcripts) is sent to those providers for processing, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your answers.
10.Content and intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, tests, audio, images and the IELTS Prep Hub name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own, non-commercial IELTS preparation while you follow these Terms.
You keep ownership of the essays, answers and recordings you create (“your content”). You allow us to store and process your content only to provide and improve the Service for you, including sending it to our AI providers to generate feedback.
If you believe something in the Service infringes your rights, contact us at ieltsprepsupport@googlegroups.com and we will review it promptly.
11.Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Premium entirely, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.
12.Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, for example by sharing it or redistributing content. Where we close an account without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.
13.Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about exam outcomes or the accuracy of AI feedback, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, opportunity or profit.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
14.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.
15.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date, and we will notify you by email or in the app before significant changes take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
